Q: How do I place my subscription on hold?

A: We understand that life happens. If you are unable to purchase your next order, feel free to "skip" this month's subscription box by logging into your account. Then select "manage subscription". On the "manage subscription" page you will be able to select "skip shipment" underneath the "Self Love Monthly Ritual Box" photo.

Q: How do I upgrade my subscription to prepay for 3, 6, 9, or 12 months?

A: If you would like to upgrade your subscription, you will need to cancel your current subscription. 

You will then go to the main page of the website and select the "Subscribe And Save". On this page, you will see options for your prepaid subscription. You will then repurchase your subscription box and that will begin your prepaid billing cycle.

Q: What are my prepaid subscription options?

A: Our prepaid subscription options are 3, 6, 9, & 12 months long. 

Q: Will my prepaid subscription automatically renew?

A: Yes! When your prepaid subscription is complete, you will then be rebilled the same price as your prepaid subscription was before.

Q: When will I receive my first box?

A: If you sign up BEFORE the 15th, you will receive that months box. If you sign up on the 16th or after, you will receive NEXT months box.

(i.e. if you sign up between January 1 and January 15 your first box will be January – If you sign up between January 16 and January 31 your first box will be February) You will receive an email every month on the same date that you subscribed, with a confirmation email about your automatic renewal.

Q: Can I purchase a box without a subscription?

A: Yes! You can purchase 1 single box with no subscription for $50 on our website, click here.

Q: Can a purchase a single item in the box?

A: Due to limited supply, sometimes we will have leftover items. If that is the case, we will add these items to our Sub Box Refills’ page as a single item purchase. We update this page every month after boxes have shipped so keep an eye out! This is also a good way to get items that you may have missed that month or previous months. Once the item is gone, it may be gone for good!


Q: Can I purchase a subscription as a gift?

A: Of course! Please include THEIR shipping address during checkout. If you would like us to add a personal note – please include in ‘notes’ during checkout.

Q: Do I need to do anything after I subscribe to receive my first box?

A: Nope, just patience! Please allow 3-5 business days after the 15th to receive y. our shipping confirmation email. If you did NOT receive a confirmation email about your tracking information by the 20th of the month, please email [email protected] to resolve your issue, your subscription is important to us! Please also make an account when you subscribe so that you are able to login and check the status or update the payment method or billing on your orders.

Q: How do I update my subscription shipping address or billing information?

A: If you are a subscriber, you are directed to create an account with us on our website. Through there you are able to update your shipping address and billing information at any time. If you would like to confirm with us your updated address, please also email [email protected] ASAP to verify that your address has been updated. 

Q: What if I didn't update my billing address in time and my order went to my old address?

A: Unfortunately, we won't be able cover your shipping costs to have your order shipped again to the correct address. You must update your shipping address before you have been billed, otherwise it will be sent to the shipping address we originally had on file. We will send you a new order free of charge, however we will charge you to re-ship it. 


Q: Can I return or exchange items from a box?

A: Products included in our Self-Love box are handpicked each month, so we are unable to offer returns or exchanges on the box or the items. If something is missing or damaged, you have 2 weeks from the date your order is received to please email [email protected] to fix your issue. 

Q: What if I don't like the product I purchased? 

A: Due to these unprecedented times we are unable to accept any type of returns or exchanges. 

Q: What is the cancellation policy?

A: You may cancel your subscription at anytime by logging into your account and canceling. Cancellations MUST be made BEFORE your automated renewal date to affect the current month’s box. There is NO cancellation fee but we will be sorry to see you go!



Q: When do boxes ship?

A: Boxes are shipped the week of the 15th of every month (if those dates fall on a weekend – boxes will ship the 14th, the Friday before) Please allow 3-5 business days to receive your box! You will receive an email when your box ships, so you can track it to your doorstep. Once shipping labels are printed, boxes are packed, and have reached the post office, your email with a tracking info will be updated.

Q: How much does shipping cost?

A: Shipping is $6.00 for USA residents only. Shipping is $15 for Canada and $25 for all other countries. We ship worldwide!

Q: What if my tracking says delivered, but I haven't received my package?

A: Please call your local mail carrier, depending on your shipment (FedEx, UPS, USPS, DHL) and see if your package was damaged, lost, stuck at customs or being sent back to us. If they don't have an answer for you just yet, we suggest filing a claim with that specific carrier.

Q: Where does Chasin’ Unicorns Self-Love Boxes ship to?

A: We ship internationally! For those that are international, you will be charged $25.

Q: What are the dimensions of the Self-Love monthly box?

A: The box itself measures 8”x5”x6” and ships inside a Flat Rate Padded Envelope.


Q: When will I be billed for my subscription?

A: You will be charged the monthly fee and applicable sales tax for your recurring subscription on the same date that you first signed up.

(i.e. if you sign up March 18th you will be billed the 18th of every month)

Q: What Payments methods can be used?

A: You can pay using a debit card, a credit card, or PayPal. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover Card. At this time we are unable to accept Shopping Mall Credit Cards, online credit, eGift Cards, gift cards, or any other payment methods not associated with Chasin’ Unicorns. ***Chasin’ Unicorns gifts cards are ONLY accepted for a one-time single box purchase.***

Q: Do you charge sales tax?

A: If applicable, sales tax for CA will be added to your monthly subscription fee.

Q: Can I use a promo code when purchasing my subscription?

A: Currently, promo codes do NOT apply.

By subscribing to our monthly Self-Love Box, you understand and agree that you are opting in to a monthly product subscription and that each month Chasin’ Unicorns will charge the credit card you designate with the current monthly subscription fee (plus applicable taxes) until you cancel.

What kind of stones are in the center of my bath bomb?  Do I get to choose?
The stones are randomly placed inside the bath bombs.  However, it is said that the stone you need most at the time will be the one that finds you.  We try to mix up the stone options as much as possible - even we don’t know what is inside!

How big is the stone? Is it tumbled, cut, or rough?
Each stone is 1″ – 2″ in size.  On occasion, smaller stones may be included in multiples but that is rare.  They are all rough cut, raw stones (again, unless mentioned specifically).  Since they are rough, they may contain sharp edges.  Please use caution when having them in your bathtub or handling them so that you do not cause injury to yourself or the bathtub surface.  We recommend holding the bath bomb as it dissolves so you can catch the stone.

So I’m putting a rock in my bathtub? Isn’t that weird?
You don’t have to keep the stone in your bathtub, and of course we’d never suggest sitting on it!  It is best to place the stone on yourself, or hold in your hand.   You can keep the stone on the edge of the tub if you prefer (again be careful not to scratch your tub).  You can read more about bathing with crystals HERE.

Some bath bombs are drying to the skin.  Are the ones from Chasin’ Unicorns drying too?
Our bath bombs are very moisturizing due to the coconut oil, kaolin clay, and lack of dyes and chemicals. Due to the coconut oil, use caution when moving or standing in the tub as it may cause a slippery surface.

I have colored hair, is that ok?
We always recommend putting your hair up when taking a bath as any magnesium epsom salt bath is known to cleanse the colored hair, and it is actually a common way to naturally strip the hair dye job.

Why is my bathtub and/or towel black?
The natural colorant (activated charcoal) of the Black Pearl (black) can sometimes combine with the coconut oil to create a film.  While we try to minimize this effect, we always suggest rinsing your tub (and even your body) after bathing in a colored bath.  A soft towel and soapy water will rinse it off.  If you have any questions about how your tub will react, start with a small spot to test it out.  It is also best if you start with a clean bathtub.

How often should you use the bath bombs?
It really depends on you and your skin.  Typically once per week is good.


Are essential oils safe for me to use?
As with anything, you should always consult a doctor first if you have any questions or concerns. Pure essential oils should not be used by mothers who are pregnant or nursing. They are also not recommended for children. Certain oils may also cause sensitivity to sunlight (mainly the citrus based ones).  Again, if you have any questions, please do some research and/or consult a doctor.

Are essential oils safe for my pet?
Similar to your human doctor, we always suggest asking your vet, especially for older pets.  Cats may be particularly susceptible to certain essential oils.

Can I drink the essential oils?
Our essential oils are pure, undiluted, and therapeutic grade.  Never drink them straight out of the bottle.  Certain oils can be added to water, but please get to know their suggested uses before drinking any.  Some oils should never be used internally, and some should never be used externally.  Read before using, and consult a doctor.

What DOES one do with essential oils?
There is a lot of information out there these days on essential oils, so we won’t bore you here. (As with everything, please read descriptions and instructions carefully.)  But, in a general sense, they can be used to add to a bath (we have matching bath bombs and oil blends!), aromatherapy/air diffusers, and added to drinking water (depending on which ones, and under the care of a physician).  If you need a small diffuser, we use this inexpensive one from Amazon.

What kind of top does the bottle have?
The bottles have a childproof glass/rubber dropper top.  Since they are childproof, gently push down on the black exterior plastic (not the dropper itself) and turn.  Do not try pulling the rubber dropper out as the glass is attached to it and it will break.  If the dropper breaks, please do NOT use the oil!

Thanks for making essential oils, can I use them to make my own bath bombs to sell?
Ouch! Well, we hope that you love our bath bombs so much that you don’t want to make your own.  The single oils, aka straight Lavender or Peppermint, are okay but you cannot use our proprietary blends to make any other products.  That would be stealing.  We worked hard to come up with those, so they will remain our property.  Please note that if you do use ANY of our products in your own product, you assume all responsibility and liability.


Why is there a chip in my crystal/stone/horn?
As you know these are all bits of nature, and are made with their own beautiful imperfections.  While occasionally something can happen in transit, most times these pieces have come with that imperfection from the beginning.  Things like the Unicorn Horns are a great example of this! Selenite is a very soft stone and  you can imagine trying to carve it.  Some horns do come with chips, and this is totally normal. Most selenite crystals regardless of the carve will contain chips because it is one of the most delicate stones.

If your crystal breaks or cracks over time
Crystals can only absorb a certain amount of energy, especially protection crystals like hematite.  When they have absorbed too much, they will break.  You will want to cleanse them regularly to help prevent this.  If they break in your possession we cannot replace them.  However, if they arrive broken, please email us at [email protected]. With proof or your damaged crystal, a replacement can be sent. 

Where can I find your crystals?
We have a large variety of crystals on our website HERE, but we also do live crystal auctions every month with more one-of-a-kind items.  

I placed an order but it’s been crickets since then…. where is my confirmation email?
Please check your spam or junk folders (or Promotions tab, if you are on gmail) for our confirmation email.  They are auto generated, so there should ALWAYS be an email generated if an order went through.  If there isn’t, let us know and we will look into it. Please remember, if you ordered a subscription box they get shipped on the 15th of each month. 

How long do orders take to ship?
Orders are typically processed within 2-3 business days. Please allow an extra day if your order was processed on a weekend.

My Shipping cost doesn't look right. What should I do?
If it’s giving an unrealistic shipping cost, or perhaps not giving you an option (no location available), please email us at [email protected].

How is Shipping calculated?
Shipping costs will be calculated once you enter an accurate shipping location. The calculation will be based on your location and order weight. We are constantly looking for ways to reduce these prices though, so always check back!

International shipping (we ship from California, USA) prices are higher due to our postal service, however if you prefer us to use a specific carrier, please let us know as soon as your order has been placed.

I placed an order yesterday, but now you have a promo code available, can you adjust my order price to include it?
No, if a promo code expired we are not able to honor it the next day. 

I placed an order yesterday, can I make changes?
Please email [email protected] as soon as possible if you need to make a change to your order. We try to get orders out as soon as we can so send us an email and we will try our best to update your order, however this can not be guaranteed.

I put the wrong name/address etc. in my order…
Please email [email protected] as soon as possible if you need to make any changes or update your address. Our system prints out the shipping label exactly how it is entered by the customer.  If the item is returned due to incorrect information, you will be responsible for covering the additional shipping cost to resend your order.

Missing Item from Order

If an item is missing from your order you have 2 weeks from the day it is delivered to reach out to [email protected] for a replacement. 

My package is damaged, now what?
Please send us an e-mail to [email protected] and include photos of the packaging and damaged contents. Based on your photo we will determine if a new item needs to be sent.

What if I don't like a product I ordered?
At this time we are not able to offer any returns or exchanges.

How long are your products good for?
We do not use any unnatural preservatives.  It is best that you use your products as soon as possible for best results.
