Blue Quartz & Labradorite - Chasin' Unicorns

Blue Quartz & Labradorite

The blue quartz crystal is peaceful, master-healer quartz, carrying both the properties of clear quartz (calming, cleansing) and the vibrational energy of the blue color wave, which is aligned with the fifth chakra of the throat. As a crystal of the throat chakra, it can help facilitate communication and understanding of others and ourselves. It is a stone, therefore, of truth, and of moving past the fears and blockages that prevent us from speaking and owning our own truths and our own realities. The light blue of this crystal is calming and peaceful, also inspiring hope within us as it attunes us to that which needs to be said and shared.

By speaking and owning our truth, we can move into better understanding ourselves, and therefore at resonating at our highest frequency. This can require us to look within the mirror and recognize all the aspects of ourselves, both the shadows and the light. This can be a scary or challenging process sometimes, but blue quartz allows us to do so softly, calmly, peacefully, and without fear or judgment. We can look within and hold up the mirror, facing it with a tranquil type of bravery that is inspired by the vibrations of blue quartz. And when we look in the mirror with honesty and clear eyes, we can fall in love with our first, most important soulmate — ourselves.

Bonds of truth also better enable us to connect with others. Only when we see ourselves clearly and honestly and share ourselves truthfully, can we connect most deeply with those in our lives. Blue quartz can help us to bridge the gaps between ourselves and those around us, and come from a space of loving communication with compassion and withholding judgment.

This crystal has a strong spiritual element that comes with looking within. This is facilitated by the other crystals that are often included within blue quartz, including indicolite, dumortierite, aerinite, or rutilite. These are all high-vibrational crystals that resonate with understanding your dharma or higher purpose, our past lives, spiritual guides, and moving along the soul-centered journey from the South Node (the abilities and skills you are born with) to the North Node (the true purpose of your soul of being in this life).

How to use: Place blue quartz on top of written intentions for speaking truth; place on throat chakra during meditation; hold in your hand when you need to step into its calming and reflective energy; carry it when you need help communicating your truth clearly.
